The catch is that the two hats must be connected by a route that can be drawn between them with no more than two turns, which means that you must strategically plan your moves and look for the best pair to eliminate off the board. You can start your journey by removing the pairs on the outer edges of the table and clearing your way toward the center. There also might be identical hats placed next to each other in more central positions. Removing them will allow you more options throughout the round.
